Attorney Frank P. Fitzgerald received his Bachelor’s Degree from Western New England College in 1968 before earning his J.D. (Cum Laude) in 1973 from Western New England School of Law. Attorney Fitzgerald was admitted to the Massachusetts bar in 1973.
A member of the Hampden County, Massachusetts and American Bar Associations, Attorney Fitzgerald co-founded the Bank of Western Massachusetts in 1986. He served as Chairman of the Board from 1986 to 2008. He is a former co-chair of the Democratic National Finance Committee.
Attorney Fitzgerald has been honored by the United States Small Business Administration as its Small Business Financial Service Advocate of the year. Additionally, he is the founder of the Mutt & Jeff Golf Scholarship Tournament which has provided financial aid to local students attending technical and community colleges for the past 25 years.
Attorney Fitzgerald is a Trustee Emeritus of Western New England University School of Law. Attorney Fitzgerald is also Chairman of the Advisory Board of ROCA – Springfield, which enables troubled youths to lead productive lives. He gives back to his community having chaired or co-chaired many charitable fundraising efforts including Ronald McDonald House, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Aspergers Association, Downs Syndrome Foundation, American Cancer Society Capital Campaign and many others. Attorney Fitzgerald also serves as a volunteer Rules Official in the U.S.G.A. and Mass Golf Association tournaments.
Attorney Fitzgerald’s area of practice includes Corporate Law, Finance, Business Succession Planning, Banking Law and Mergers and Acquisitions.
